The HPE Apollo 4200 Gen10 Server delivers enhanced storage density and performance in a 2U form factor, designed for modern data-intensive workloads. It supports up to 28 LFF or 54 SFF hot-plug drives, providing exceptional capacity and flexibility. The LFF chassis allows up to 448 TB of storage using 16 TB drives, scaling to over 8 PB in a standard 42U rack. For high-performance applications, the SFF chassis supports up to 54 NVMe, SAS, or SSD drives, offering increased throughput and reduced latency—ideal for workloads like big data analytics, AI, and content delivery.


With support for NVMe storage and HPE Smart Array controllers, the Gen10 version delivers faster performance and improved scalability over its predecessor. The HPE Apollo 4200 Gen10 Server focuses on storage-intensive and compute-friendly workloads but does not natively support GPU accelerators. Instead, its design prioritizes high-capacity storage, flexible drive configurations, and advanced management features, making it a robust solution for enterprise applications like big data, data analytics, and video streaming environments.
