  • No hard drives in a no-backplane configuration.
  • 24 x 2.5-inch direct backplane configuration with up to six SAS/SATA drives for each PowerEdge C6525 node.
  • 24 x 2.5-inch NVMe backplane configuration with up to six drives for each PowerEdge C6525 node out of which 2 drives can be NVMe drives. Both the drives can support up to Gen3 speed.
  • 12 x 3.5-inch direct backplane configuration with up to 3 SAS/SATA drives for each PowerEdge C6525 node.
Controllers Models
Storage controllers PERC H345, PERC H745, HBA345, HBA355i
Integrated storage controllers S150
H745 is Not supported for CPU TDP ≥ 180 Watts.
Boot Option BOSS M.2 Riser

The system also contains a BOSS M.2 riser that holds 2 Drives. This is a dedicated slot that is connect to the SATA port on the system board. View the manual for more details.
