The System has a OCP 2.0 Mezzanine slot below the Storage Controller Mezzanine slot. This OCP slot is a dedicated slot just for these types of cards. These OCP slots provide an excellent way to add networking capabilities to the node server.

Each Sled has access to a certain number of drives on the C6400 Rack server. To save a drive from being the boot drive. You can install an M.2 BOSS riser or place a Micro SD card in the primary optional riser. The BOSS riser has a dedicated slot and can hold up to 1x M.2 NVMe SSDs per node. These two options are great for Booting the OS. Please read the manual for more details on this subject.
