The Dell PowerEdge R7725 is a 2U dual-socket rack server powered by two 5th Gen AMD EPYC 9005 Series processors with up to 192 cores each. It supports 24 DDR5 DIMM slots (up to 6TB, speeds up to 6400 MT/s), up to eight PCIe Gen5 slots, two optional OCP 3.0 NICs, up to two 450W double-width or six single-width GPUs and up to 40x EDSFF E3.S Gen5 NVMe, 24x 2.5-inch or 12x 3.5-inch drives, with air or Direct Liquid Cooling. Managed by iDRAC10, it is built for virtualization, VDI and high-performance computing. Fully configurable.

The R7725 is a dual-socket 2U server that takes two 5th Gen AMD EPYC 9005 Series processors with up to 192 Zen 5 cores each. Some high-TDP processor SKUs and configurations require Direct Liquid Cooling.

It has 24 DDR5 RDIMM slots, 12 per processor at one DIMM per channel, running at up to 6400 MT/s. Maximum capacity is up to 6TB. Only registered ECC DDR5 DIMMs are supported.

The R7725 supports up to two 450W double-width GPUs or up to six 75W single-width GPUs. It is cooled by up to six hot-plug fans, with Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) available for the highest-power processors.

Front options include 12x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA; 8x 2.5-inch universal; 16 or 24x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA; 16x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA plus 8x U.2 NVMe; or 8, 16, 32 or 40 EDSFF E3.S Gen5 NVMe drives. Boot is handled by BOSS-N1. Please specify your capacity needs when you submit your quote configuration.

The R7725 moves from two EPYC 9004 CPUs with up to 128 cores each to two EPYC 9005 CPUs with up to 192 cores each. Memory speed rises from 4800 to 6400 MT/s on the same 24 DDR5 slots, double-width GPU support grows from 300W to 450W cards, E3.S capacity grows from 32 to 40 drives, and management moves from iDRAC9 to iDRAC10.
