The Dell PowerEdge R7625 is a 2U dual-socket rack server running up to two 4th Gen AMD EPYC 9004 Series processors with up to 128 cores each. It offers 24 DDR5 DIMM slots (up to 6TB at up to 4800 MT/s), up to eight PCIe slots including Gen5, up to two 300W double-width or six 75W single-width GPUs, and up to 24x 2.5", 12x 3.5" or 32x EDSFF E3.S front drives plus rear bays. Managed by iDRAC9, with air cooling or optional Direct Liquid Cooling and PSUs up to 3200W. Fully configurable.

Up to two 4th Generation AMD EPYC 9004 Series processors (SP5 socket) with up to 128 cores each, linked by xGMI at 32 GT/s.

It has 24 DDR5 RDIMM slots for up to 6TB of memory. DIMMs rated at 5600 MT/s are clocked down to the platform maximum of 4800 MT/s. Only registered ECC DDR5 DIMMs are supported.

Front options include 8 or 12x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA, 8, 16 or 24x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA/NVMe, or 8, 16 or 32 EDSFF E3.S Gen5 NVMe drives. Rear modules add 2x or 4x 2.5-inch drives or 4x E3.S NVMe, with BOSS-N1 M.2 NVMe boot. Please specify your capacity needs when you submit your quote configuration.

Up to two 300W double-width GPUs or six 75W single-width GPUs. It is air cooled with up to six hot-plug fans, with optional Direct Liquid Cooling, which requires rack manifolds and a cooling distribution unit (CDU).

The R7625 moves from 2nd/3rd Gen AMD EPYC to EPYC 9004 (SP5), from DDR4-3200 to DDR5, and from 4TB to 6TB of memory. It adds PCIe Gen5, EDSFF E3.S storage, optional liquid cooling and PSUs up to 3200W. Dell lists up to two 300W double-width GPUs, versus three on the R7525.
