Dell PowerEdge R840

The Dell PowerEdge R840 is a 2U four-socket rack server that brings big-memory analytics and database power into a compact chassis. It runs up to four 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 28 cores each, 48 DDR4 DIMM slots for up to 6TB at 2933 MT/s (with Optane persistent memory support), and up to 24x 2.5" drives with up to 24 NVMe. Up to six PCIe Gen3 slots, two double-width GPUs, rNDC networking and iDRAC9 complete it. Fully configurable.
