The Dell PowerEdge R760xs is a 2U dual-socket rack server built for scale-out performance at a lower cost, running up to two 4th or 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 32 cores each. It offers 16 DDR5 DIMM slots (up to 1.5TB at up to 5200 MT/s), up to six PCIe slots including two Gen5, support for two 75W single-width GPUs, and up to 24x 2.5" or 12x 3.5" drives. Managed by iDRAC9, it suits virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), virtual machines and software-defined storage. Fully configurable.

Up to two 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 32 cores each, or two 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 28 cores each. A single-processor configuration is also available.

It has 16 DDR5 RDIMM slots (eight per processor) and supports up to 1.5TB using 96GB RDIMMs. Memory runs at up to 5200 MT/s with 5th Gen processors and up to 4800 MT/s with 4th Gen processors. Only registered ECC DDR5 DIMMs are supported.

Front options include up to 8x or 12x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA, 8x or 16x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA, 8x 2.5-inch NVMe, or 16x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA plus 8x 2.5-inch NVMe. Up to two rear 2.5-inch drives can be added, and BOSS-N1 provides mirrored M.2 NVMe boot. Please specify your capacity needs when you submit your quote configuration.

Yes. It supports up to two 75W single-width, low-profile GPUs such as the NVIDIA A2, which the previous-generation R750xs did not support. It is air cooled with up to six hot-swap fans.

The R760xs moves from 3rd Gen to 4th/5th Gen Xeon Scalable processors, from DDR4-3200 to DDR5 at up to 5200 MT/s, and from 1TB to 1.5TB of memory. It adds two PCIe Gen5 slots, NVIDIA A2 GPU support and optional rear drives, and replaces BOSS-S2 with BOSS-N1 NVMe boot.
