Dell's RAID controller lineup includes the fPERC solution, providing a base RAID hardware controller that doesn't consume a PCIe slot, thanks to a compact form factor and high-density connector to the base planar.

The 15G PERC controller lineup draws heavily from the established 14G family, carrying forward the Value and Value Performance tiers. New to 15G is the Harpoon-based Premium Performance tier, a high-end option engineered to boost IOPS and enhance SSD performance.

IDSDM

The IDSDM and internal USB module can't be installed together — a choice between the two is required. The IDSDM is well suited for booting a hypervisor OS.
