Only RDIMM Memory modules of different capacities can be mixed.
Mixing of more than two memory module capacities in a system is not supported.
Intel Persistent Memory 200 series (BPS) can be mixed with RDIMM, LRDIMM, and 3DS LRDIMM.
Mixing PMem operating modes (App Direct Mode, Memory Mode) is not supported.
Please read the manuals for all the memory installation rules.

Memory Supported

Each system supports maximum of one Intel Persistent Memory 200 series (BPS) memory module per channel. These DIMMs can also be mixed with either RDIMMs or LRDIMMs. The manuals have a lot of rules for the PMem Memory. Please check out the manual for all the rules and ristrictions.

Dell PowerEdge R650 Rack Server - Storage Controllers

Dell’s RAID controller options offer performance improvements, including the fPERC solution. fPERC provides a base RAID HW controller without consuming a PCIe slot by using a small form factor and high-density connector to the base planar.

15G PERC Controller offerings will be a heavy leverage of 14G PERC family. The Value and Value Performance levels will carry over to 15G from 14G. New to 15G, is the Harpoon-based Premium Performance tier offering. This high-end offering will drive IOPs performance and enhanced SSD performance.
