Dell PowerEdge R7525

The Dell PowerEdge R7525 is a 2U dual-socket rack server running up to two 2nd or 3rd Generation AMD EPYC processors with up to 64 cores each. It offers 32 DDR4 DIMM slots (up to 2TB RDIMM or 4TB LRDIMM at up to 3200 MT/s), up to 24x 2.5" NVMe/SAS/SATA or 12x 3.5" front drives plus two rear bays, up to eight PCIe Gen4 slots, up to three 300W double-width or six 75W single-width GPUs, two 1GbE LOM ports and an OCP 3.0 slot. Managed by iDRAC9, it handles data analytics, VDI and HPC. Fully configurable.

Up to two 2nd or 3rd Generation AMD EPYC processors with up to 64 cores each, connected by xGMI-2.

It has 32 DDR4 DIMM slots for up to 2TB with RDIMMs or 4TB with LRDIMMs at bandwidth up to 3200 MT/s. 3DS DIMMs are supported.

Front options include up to 24x 2.5-inch NVMe/SAS/SATA drives (up to 24 NVMe), 16x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA or 12x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA, with an optional rear module for 2x 2.5-inch drives. Please specify your capacity needs when you submit your quote configuration.

Up to three 300W double-width GPUs or up to six 75W single-width GPUs, using up to eight PCIe Gen4 slots.

The R7525 moves from first-generation EPYC (Naples) to 2nd/3rd Gen EPYC, from PCIe Gen3 to Gen4, and adds OCP 3.0 networking, NVMe on all 24 bays and PERC 11 controllers. Both offer 32 DIMM slots and up to three 300W double-width GPUs.
