Dell PowerEdge R740xd

The Dell PowerEdge R740xd is a 2U two-socket rack server built for software-defined storage and data-heavy work. It runs up to two 1st or 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 28 cores each, 24 DDR4 DIMM slots for up to 3TB at up to 2933 MT/s, and up to 32x 2.5" or 18x 3.5" drives across front, mid and rear bays, with NVMe options. Up to 8 PCIe Gen3 slots, GPU support, a choice of network daughter cards and iDRAC9 round it out. Fully configurable.
