The VNX5100 supports both block and file storage protocols and offers upgrade flexibility with optional unified support through X-Blade Data Movers. It supports protocols including CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, FCoE, and FC. Write cache functionality is safeguarded by a standby power supply (SPS) module to protect data integrity during outages. With up to two SPS units for redundancy and high availability, the VNX5100 delivers enterprise-grade data protection in a compact form factor.
