With 4GB of onboard cache and support for up to 24 SAS or 12 NL-SAS drives, this controller delivers solid performance for mid-size storage deployments. It provides a flexible networking configuration with one 10GBASE-T port, one 10GbE SFP+ port, and a 10/100mb management interface.
Equipped with features like vertical port failover and cache-to-flash memory destaging, the Type 17 controller ensures continuity and data integrity in the event of hardware interruptions. Only one high-speed network interface (SFP+ or 10GBASE-T) can be used at a time.
