The HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10 Plus server is a powerful yet affordable tower server designed for small offices, remote and branch offices to run on-premises and hybrid cloud solutions, delivering enterprise-class performance, security, reliability, and expandability at a low cost. A redundant power supply option and up to 4 LFF or 8 SFF hot-plug HDDs provide availability and flexibility. The enhanced expansion capability, now including PCIe Gen4, allows you to upgrade with serial attached SCSI (SAS) controllers or networking cards as your business grows.

Each chassis comes with 4 PCIe Slots, and an embedded storage controller Intel VROC SATA (formerly known as Intel® RSTe). The VROC SATA comes with 4 SATA ports for drive bays, 2 SATA ports for media bays or HPE Universal SATA AIC HHHL M.2 SSD Kit (878783-B21), and an additional 1 SATA via onboard M.2 slot. All the models also feature an embedded Broadcom BCM5720 Ethernet 1Gb 2-port BASE-T Adapter. The HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10 Plus server offers the customer a dual-port NIC as standard with the option to upgrade with a variety of networking options.

Performance RAID Controllers require the HPE Smart Storage Battery (P01366-B21) or the HPE Smart Hybrid Capacitor (P02377-B21) which is sold separately.
The HPE ML30 Gen10 Plus Tower server can easily be converted into a Rack server by simply adding the HPE ML Gen10 Tower to Rack Conversion Kit (874578-B21). This kit is everything you need to get “Sliding”. This rail kit comes with the rail tray that the server sits on top of and is mounted to from the back. The server tray is that actual piece mounted to the rails that slide out for easy access to the server.
To go from the 300W Non-Hot-Plug Power Supply Unit (PSU) (P21652-B21) to the Flex Slot Platinum 500W Power Supply Unit (PSU) (865408-B21). You’ll need the enablement cage (686665-001), the Flexible Slot power distribution board ( P48076-001 ), and the cable kit (P07485-001) . If you only install one of the Hot-Plug Redundant Power Supplies, then you’ll also need the Flexible Slot Power Supply Blank (775423-001) to keep the airflow optimal.
Starting March 1st, 2020, only the 350W Gold-level PSU (power supply) and the 500W PSU meet the European Union (EU) Lot 9 regulation requirement for CE marking.
Do not order the Bronze-level 350W PSU (820303-B21) in countries that require CE marking, especially the EU countries.
The HPE ML30 Gen10 Front PCI Fan and Baffle Kit (P06303-B21) is required with the following:
- M.2 SSD dedicated iLO module (P06687-B21)
- HPE NS204i-p x2 Lanes NVMe PCIe3 x8 OS Boot Device (P12965-B21)
- HPE Universal SATA 6G AIC HHHL M.2 SSD Enablement Kit (878783-B21)
- Select the 4 LFF Hot-Plug or the 8 SFF Hot-Plug Chassis
- Any PCI-e Cards
