The Dell PowerEdge R730xd Mid Drive Tray 4x 3.5" (Part Number: 4FHR4) is designed to expand the storage capacity of your server by adding four additional 3.5-inch drive bays at the mid-chassis position. This tray supports both SATA and SAS hard drives or solid-state drives, and can accommodate 2.5-inch drives with the appropriate adapter. Installation of the 4FHR4 mid drive tray is straightforward; however, please note that it does not support hot-plug capability on its own.
