The Dell EMC PowerEdge R7515 is a single-socket 2U rack server built to handle complex workloads through highly scalable memory, I/O, and networking. It runs on 2nd and 3rd Generation AMD EPYC processors, offering SKUs from 16 up to 64 cores, alongside support for up to 16 DIMMs, PCIe 4.0 expansion slots, and a choice of LOM riser technologies.

NOTE:

Older 32GB RDIMM memory with x4 data width and 8Gb DRAM density can't be mixed with newer 32GB RDIMM memory using x8 data width and 16Gb DRAM density within the same AMD EPYC processor unit.

The older 128GB LRDIMM memory running at 2666 MT/s can't be mixed with the newer 128GB LRDIMM memory running at 3200 MT/s.

Networking LOM

The PowerEdge R7515 supports up to two 10/100/1000 Mbps NIC ports on the back panel, with LAN on Motherboard (LOM) available via an optional riser card.

You can install one LOM riser card. The supported LOM riser options are:
