Blade Network Daughter Card (bNDC)

The Network Daughter Card (NDC) is a small, removable mezzanine card. The NDC provides you with a flexibility of choosingdifferent network connectivity option, for example—4 x 1GbE, 2 x 10GbE or 2 x Converged Network Adapter.

The Internal Dual SD Module (IDSDM) card provides two SD card slots and a USB interface dedicated for the embedded hypervisor. This card offers the following features:

  • Dual card operation—maintains a mirrored configuration by using SD cards in both slots and provides redundancy.
  • Single card operation—single card operation is supported, but without redundancy.

vFlash SD

The vFlash SD card is positioned under the bNDC in the rear of the system. This is supported with the upgraded iDRAC8 Enterprise.
