The refurbished HPE ProLiant ML350p Gen8 Server series is the latest generation of the best-selling ProLiant ML servers delivering best-in-class performance, availability and maximum expandability for enterprise data centers, remote branch offices and growing businesses. Incorporating key HP technologies from the HP ProActive Insight architecture, the ML350p Gen8 provides innovations in memory, server management, firmware management and server storage. It combines these innovations with the latest Intel Xeon processors for a system with unsurpassed flexibility and performance.

Up to 2 processors supported. Mixing different processor models is not supported. ML350p Gen8 sandy bridge processors need to purchase Heatsink lever upgrade kit 749245-B21 when plan to upgrade to Ivy bridge processor.
LRDIMM, RDIMM and UDIMMs are all distinct memory technologies and cannot be mixed within a server. If only one processor is installed, only 12 DIMM slots are available. When populating with two processors 24 DIMM slots are available. For maximum speed on some memory options on 16 DIMM slots may be populated.

Mixing of SFF and LFF drive cages is not allowed. Additional Hot Plug Drive Cages require a separate Smart Array controller for each drive cage. HP recommends the HP Smart Array P420/1GB FBWC 6Gb 2-ports Int SAS Controller (P/N 631670-B21). Expander HDD Cage Kit allows up to 18 LFF / 24 SFF HDDs managed under one single controller. The controller must have a minimum of 512MB FBWC module installed.

The ML350p Gen8 supports up to 3 graphic cards. HP Graphic Card Support Kit (660582-B21) will be required per Graphic Card HP 3rd Graphic Card Power Cable FIO Kit (700835-B21) will be an additional request for the 3rd graphics card support.
2 PSUsThe first two bays can take any type of PSU. Mixing of power supplies in the same server is not supported. All power supplies inside a server must be exactly the same model. Mixing Gold, Platinum, and Platinum Plus certified power supplies is not supported.
4 PSUsThis kit Requires the selection of either 2 x 1200W power supply kits (656364-B21) or 4 x 1200w power supply kits (656364-B21).
