DS4243 SATA/SAS/SSD Expansion Shelves
The NetApp DS4243 is a 24-Bay SAS / SATA 4U Disk Shelf which allows you to expand your NetApp FAS storage arrays with additional disk capacity. Included is a SAS->SATA expander in the IO module enabling access to all disks through a single 4-lane SAS port on the back of the module. Every disk is hot-swappable and there is no technical limitation on which disks you can insert (i.e. you don't need specially-keyed disks, or disks with a custom firmware)
