The refurbished HPE ProLiant ML110 Gen10 server is an enhanced single processor tower with performance, expansion, and security at an affordable price. It supports the Intel Xeon Scalable processor, HPE DDR4 SmartMemory with a maximum capacity of 192 GB, five PCIe slots, eight large form factor (LFF) or 16 small form factor (SFF) disk drives. It can easily be converted to a rack using 4.5U of rack space.

To ensure proper cooling for your GPU or PCI cards, you'll need the HP ML110 Gen9 PCI Fan and Baffle Kit (784580-B21). This kit includes the PCI Fan Module (791710-001) and the PCI Air Baffle (791709-001). Both components are necessary to maintain adequate airflow and prevent overheating when installing PCI cards, adapters, or GPUs. Proper installation of this kit ensures optimal cooling for your system's performance and reliability.
The system fan module (92x32 mm - 791708-001) can be upgraded to the enhanced fan module (92x38 mm - 791717-001) for improved cooling performance. This upgraded fan module is mandatory when installing a 140W processor kit or selecting SAS SSDs. In these cases, the upgraded fan module kit must be ordered to ensure proper cooling and system reliability.
The base storage controller for the HPE ML110 Gen9 is the HPE Dynamic Smart Array B140i Controller, which supports only SATA drives. For more advanced configurations, you can install a SAS controller with Flash Backed Write Cache (FBWC), enabling support for 2 or 4 12Gb SAS Ports. Note that specific controllers must be selected based on the drive cage configuration, and appropriate cable kits are required for compatibility.
Additionally, for full FBWC support, the Smart Storage Battery (727258-B21) and its holder (786710-B21) must be installed, as these items are not included by default in CTO configurations featuring SAS controllers. Ensure these components are properly selected and installed to maintain optimal performance and functionality.
When the backplane is connected to a storage controller, each drive box has its own numbering, starting at 1 for each box. However, when the backplane is connected to a SAS expander, all drive boxes are treated as a single unified box 1, resulting in continuous drive bay numbering across all the drive boxes. This distinction affects how drives are organized and recognized within the system.
When configuring 16 SFF drives, you must select the HP Smart Array P840/4GB FBWC 12Gb 2-Port Internal SAS Controller (726897-B21) and install two HP ML110 Gen9 Mini SAS P440/P840 Cable Kits (789651-B21). Each cable kit is required to ensure proper connectivity and full support for all 16 drives, enabling optimal performance and functionality for your storage setup.
When configuring 4+4 LFF or 8 SFF drives with the HP H240 12Gb 2-Port Smart Host Bus Adapter (726907-B21, 779134-001), it is necessary to install two HP ML110 Gen9 Mini SAS H240 Cable Kits (789648-B21, 791719-001). Each cable kit supports up to 4 drives, ensuring proper connectivity and functionality for the configuration. This setup is essential for achieving optimal performance and compatibility.
The HPE 350W ATX Gen9 Power Supply Kit (776442-B21) is the standard non-hot-plug PSU installed in the HPE ML110 Gen9 Tower Server. For configurations requiring more power, such as those with GPUs or additional PCI adapters, it can be upgraded to the 550W ATX Gen9 Non-Hot-Plug PSU (776444-B21).
For hot-plug capability, the server supports one or two 750W Common Slot Gold Hot-Plug Power Supply Kits (512327-B21). Installing these requires the HPE ML110 Gen9 Redundant Power Supply Enablement Kit (784582-B21), which includes the PSU cage, backplane, and top bracket (791712-001). If only one redundant PSU is installed, the second slot must be filled with the PSU Blank (698883-001) to maintain proper airflow and system stability.
The onboard NIC 1/shared iLO connector is set as the default system iLO connector. To enable the dedicated iLO management module, use the iLO 4 configuration Utility accessible within the HPE UEFI System Utilities. All of the following Chassis come with
