Drive Bay Options

The R6625 has 2 Processors and 24 DIMMs of DDR5 Memory. Supports up to 3 PCIe slots with 1 LOM and 1 OCP slot. This system can be either Air-cooled or Direct Liquid Cooled depending on the configuration or the CPUs TDP. The Gen 16 Rack Server by dell can handle up to 3 Single Width 75W GPUs.

Processors and Heatsinks
Processor

Two AMD EPYC 4th Generation 9004 series processors with up to 128 cores. For CPU power > 240 W, DIMM Blank is required to be installed in all empty DIMM slots.

Heatsink & Fans

Up to four sets (dual fan module) Standard (STD) / High Performance Gold (HPR Gold) hot plug fans. For cooling purposes, OCP Shroud is required to be installed with No Riser Configuration (RC0) when OCP card is present. For air cooling with 2 x 2.5-inch rear-drive configuration, it is required to install Rear Drive Shroud in the system.

Memory

Up to 24 RDIMMs with up to 6 TB of memory and speeds up to 4800 MT/s. 256 GB RDIMM is not supported in 4 x 3.5-inch chassis configuration. Mixing of DIMMs is not supported.

Networking Adapters (LOM + OCP 3.0)

Expanding the Network on the R6625 Dell Rack Server can be done in 3 different ways. The PCIe slots, the onBoard LOM, or the OCP 3.0 slot.

The R6625 is limited to only 3 PCIe slots. These slots will go fast. That is why the system has two other options for installing a Network Adapter. The LOM slot can support up to 2 Ports at 1GB of speed (LOM board, 2 x1Gb with BCM5720 LAN controller). Lastly, the OCP slot which supported 4 Ports up to 25Gb/s.

NOTE: Both the LOM card and OCP can be installed at the same time.

fPERC Solution

Dell's RAID controller options offer performance improvements, including the fPERC solution. fPERC provides a base RAID HW controller without consuming a PCIe slot by using a small form factor and high-density connector to the base planar.


8 SFF NVMe Chassis

If you choose the 8 SFF NVMe Chassis with RAID, it requires the installation of the H755N Storage Controller. This H755N supports NVMe drives.


BOSS-N1

The BOSS-N1 Hot-Swap Boot Device comes with 2x M.2 480GB NVMe SSD drives. The BOSS card has a dedicated slot on the motherboard and when installed will handle the booting of the OS system. If not installed you must fill the spot with the BOSS blank.

ECS Warranty Information

Express Computer Systems (ECS) provides a 1 year parts warranty against defects in material or workmanship that will affect the products functionality. All refurbished items are tested prior to shipping to guarantee up-time upon arrival. If you are having issues with an item we provided please Contact Us and we will do our best to assist you.

What does our ECS warranty cover?
We offer 1 year warranty as standard and additional years can be added to fit your needs. Please reach out to a sales associate via the Contact Us page or live chat for more information on extended coverage options. During the coverage period if your product fails we will offer a Next Business Day replacement. If we are unable to replace the product we will refund its original selling price. Shipping costs and tax are not refundable. Express Computer Systems retains the right to decide whether the goods will be replaced or refunded.

What is not covered by our warranty?
Our warranty does not cover any problem caused by the following conditions:

  1. accidents; misuse; carelessness; electrostatic discharge; shock; temperature or humidity beyond the specifications of the product; improper installation; operation; modification;
  2. any improper use that contravenes the instructions in the user manual;
  3. problems caused by other equipment. Our warranty is void if the product is returned with damaged, removed, counterfeit labels, or any modifications (including any component or external cover removal). Our warranties do not cover data loss or damages to any other equipment. In addition, our warranties do not cover incidental damages, consequential damages, or costs related to data recovery, removal, and installation.

Important notes:

  • Please ask for additional warranty/coverage that you may require in addition to the standard 1 ECS warranty prior to final purchase. Requesting additional warranty after your purchase can be denied.
