The UCS C240 M4 Large form factor (LFF) server is a 2U rack server from Cisco, designed for both performance and expandability over a wide range of storage-intensive infrastructure workloads from big data to collaboration.
The enterprise-class UCS C240 M4 LFF server extends the capabilities of Cisco’s Unified Computing System portfolio in a 2U form factor with the addition of the Intel® Xeon E5-2600 v3 and v4 series processor family that delivers the best combination of performance, flexibility, and efficiency gains. In addition, the UCS C240 M4 LFF server provides 24 DIMM slots, up to 6 PCI Express (PCIe) 3.0 slots, up to 12 front-loading drives plus two (optional) internal SATA boot drives for a total of 14 internal drives.
