The Dell PowerEdge T560, powered by the 4th Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, is an enterprise-class tower server that offers advanced technologies with accelerators. It is a purpose-built server with office-friendly acoustics that maximizes next-gen technologies to achieve optimal performance in a small footprint. The Dell PowerEdge T560 is an ideal tower server for traditional corporate IT, virtualization, database and analytics, and inferencing for AI/ML, delivering robust compute performance.
Experience balanced expandability and performance for enterprise-level workloads.
This all-in-one powerhouse provides ease of management and expandability for growth and performance.
Security is integrated into every phase of the PowerEdge lifecycle, including protected supply chain and factory-to-site integrity assurance. Silicon-based root of trust anchors end-to-end boot resilience while Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and role-based access controls ensure trusted operations

If you install a CPU with a TDP over 150W you will need the High-Performance Heat Sink (HPR HSK) if it's 150 or less then the standard heat sink will be installed. All GPU’s need a high-performance heat sink and Fans. Depending on the wattage used by the GPU you will either need 4 or 7 fans installed. You can find more information in the tech manual under the “Thermal Restrictions”

With a Max of 8 DIMMs per processor and a total of 16 DIMMs per system. Supporting up to 1TB of 4800Mhz DDR5 ECC RDIMM Memory. Keep in mind there is no mixing of DIMMs and a minimum of 1 DIMM must be populated for each installed processor.
| DIMM Capacity (GB) | DIMM Type | Ranks per DIMM | Rated DIMM Speed (MT/s) | Data Width | DIMM Volts (V) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 16 | RDIMM | 1 | 4800 | x8 | 1.1 |
| 32 | RDIMM | 2 | 4800 | x8 | 1.1 |
| 64 | RDIMM | 2 | 4800 | x4 | 1.1 |
The Dell PowerEdge T560 Tower Sever has up to six PCIe slots. 4 x PCIe Gen4 slots and 2 x PCIe Gen5 slots will accommodate all the expanding configurations you have. The system has 4 PCIe slots on the system board and 2 Riser Cards for GPU support. Riser 1 holds 1 GPU and Riser 2 holds 2 GPUs.
Up to 2 x double-width 300 W or 6 x single-width 75 W. All GPU configurations will need to upgrade the fans from standard to high performance.

The T560 Tower Server supports PERC 11 / 12 Storage Controllers. The main configuration for this system is to utilize the fPERC for raid so it frees up a PCIe slot for either a GPU or for expanding the networking ability of the server.
The 3.5" and 2.5" backplanes have different spots for the fPERCs. The 3.5" fPERC is on the front of the chassis in a dedicated slot. The 2.5" fPERC sits on the rear of the backplane. For more information about installing the fPERC Storage Controllers, please read the manuals below.
