VNXe3150 Storage Processor Enclosure (SPE) enables VNXe3150 customers to keep pace with their growing businesses by expanding their system storage capacity. The VNXe3150's intuitive design easily allows you to add new disks that can be used to expand existing storage pools or create new pools.
The VNXe3300 system with built-in disk storage can be used with two controllers and supports multi-protocol IP connectivity for concurrent NAS and iSCSI SANs. Great for small to medium sized businesses, the VNXe3300 can easily expand to fit your storage needs by adding any required mix of performance SAS, NL-SAS or Flash drives to meet capacity and performance enterprise needs. The VNXe3300 supports iSCSI, CIFS and NFS.
This EMC VNXe3300 is a bit different than the VNXe 3100 and 3150 DPEs. This 3U Disk Processor Enclosure (DPE) can handle more drives and has many more ports for networking abilities. The Storage Processors on the VNXe 3300 has a lot more power and 3 time the amount of RAM than the VNXe3100 SP’s.

Any combination of the above I/O modules is supported. However, both SPs must have the same I/O module configuration.
