The NetApp AFF-A700s is a high-performance all-flash storage system designed for enterprises requiring speed, scalability, and efficiency in a compact form factor. With a 4U chassis and dual controllers in an HA configuration, it features 1024GB of memory and four 64-bit, 18-core processors running at 2.30 GHz. Supporting up to 216 drives and a maximum capacity of 9.60PB, it is optimized for demanding workloads such as cloud computing, AI, and high-speed analytics.

The system includes eight QSFP+ (40Gb) Ethernet ports per chassis for high-speed networking and four PCIe expansion slots for additional connectivity options. It supports DS2246, DS224C, and FS424C disk shelves for seamless storage expansion. With no built-in Fibre Channel or UTA2 ports, connectivity is focused on Ethernet-based architectures, making it ideal for environments leveraging NVMe and all-flash performance.

Measuring 6.89 inches in height, 19.02 inches in width with flanges, and 34.72 inches in depth with cable management, the AFF-A700s weighs up to 114.9 lbs. It supports RAID 4, RAID 6 (RAID-DP), and RAID-TEC for enterprise-grade data protection.
