The NetApp FAS8200 4-Node MetroCluster IP system is a high-availability enterprise storage solution designed for mission-critical environments. It features a dual-chassis configuration with four controllers, providing 512GB of memory and four 64-bit, 16-core processors running at 1.70 GHz. With a total rack height of 6U, it supports up to 480 drives and a maximum storage capacity of 10.56PB, ensuring scalability and data redundancy.
Connectivity options include eight 10Gb RJ45 Ethernet ports, eight 10Gb SFP Ethernet ports, and sixteen UTA2 SFP+ ports supporting both 10Gb and 16Gb speeds. Additionally, the system offers sixteen MiniSAS HD ports (12Gb) for high-speed storage expansion. Each chassis houses two controllers with four PCIe slots per controller, supporting DS212C, DS224C, and DS460C disk shelves for flexible storage configurations.
