The HPE ProLiant XL230a Gen9 Server delivers 2P performance for your budget, while leveraging the HPE Apollo 6000 System and its modular flexibility and rack-scale efficiency. Featuring the Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3/v4 series processors, the 16 DIMM slots are ready with DDR4 2133(1024 GB maximum)/2400 (2048 GB maximum) MHz memory and HPE SmartMemory.

The modular HPE Apollo 6000 Chassis accommodates up to ten (10) hot-swap server trays, with the flexibility to choose from the HPE ProLiant XL230a Gen9 Server, the HPE ProLiant XL250a Gen9 Server, or a combination of server trays to meet your workload needs while lowering your TCO.

The Apollo 6000 Power Shelf drives rack scale power efficiency, while the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Advanced Power Manager provides real-time power measurements and enables rack-level dynamic power capping.

Efficient High Performance Compute with Flexible Networking to Optimize TCO

The HPE ProLiant XL230a Gen9 Server supports two of the latest Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3/v4 series processors, with up to 16 cores for leading performance.

Each node has 16 memory sockets for HPE DDR4 SmartMemory 2133 MT/s, up to 1024 GB maximum (16x64 GB), 2400 MT/s up to 2048 GB max (16x128 GB), and supports up to 4 hot-plug front-accessible hard drives with SAS/SATA/SSD options.

The HPE Apollo 6000 Chassis innovation zone supports 2 PCIe 3.0 HPE FlexibleLOM options including 1GbE, 10GbE and/or InfiniBand (EDR 100GbE)/Omnipath(OPA 100GbE) to fit workload needs while lowering solution TCO.

HPE Advanced power manager (HPE APM)
The HPE APM is an optional rack level solution. HPE APM will automatically discover hardware components and enable bay level power on and off, server metering, aggregate dynamic power capping, configurable power-up dependencies and sequencing, consolidated Ethernet access to all resident iLOs, and asset management capabilities.
HPE APM features rack level event logging, RADIUS authentication, integrated serial concentrator, up to 11 local user accounts, read only service port, and supports SNMP, SSH, Syslogd, telnet.
