The NetApp FAS8200 4-Node Fabric MetroCluster is a high-availability enterprise storage system designed for mission-critical applications. It features a dual-chassis configuration with four controllers, providing 512GB of memory and four 64-bit, 16-core processors running at 1.70 GHz. With a total rack height of 6U, this system supports up to 480 drives and a maximum storage capacity of 10.56PB, ensuring reliability and scalability for large-scale environments.
For connectivity, the system includes eight 10Gb RJ45 Ethernet ports, eight 10Gb SFP Ethernet ports, and sixteen UTA2 SFP+ ports supporting both 10Gb and 16Gb speeds. It also features sixteen MiniSAS HD ports (12Gb) for high-speed storage expansion. Each controller is equipped with two PCIe slots and supports remote management. The FAS8200 is compatible with DS212C, DS224C, and DS460C disk shelves, offering flexible storage expansion options.
