The NetApp FAS8080 is a high-performance storage system designed for enterprise environments, featuring a dual chassis configuration and dual high-availability (HA) controllers with IOXM. It is equipped with 1256GB of memory and four 64-bit, 10-core processors running at 2.80 GHz. With 24 PCIe expansion slots and support for up to 1440 drives, this system delivers robust scalability and flexibility for demanding workloads.
Connectivity options include eight 1Gb RJ45 Ethernet ports, eight 10Gb SFP Ethernet ports, and eight UTA2 SFP+ ports supporting both 10Gb and 16Gb speeds. Additionally, the system provides eight QSFP SAS ports for high-speed storage expansion. Supporting multiple disk shelves, including DS212C, DS2246, and DS460C, the FAS8080 can reach a maximum capacity of 15PB, making it an ideal solution for large-scale data storage needs.
