The NetApp FAS8020 is a compact yet powerful enterprise storage system designed for high availability and scalability. Featuring a single-chassis configuration with a total rack height of 3U, it comes equipped with dual controllers in a high-availability (HA) setup. Powered by two 64-bit 6-core 2.00 GHz processors and 48GB of HA memory, the system ensures efficient data processing. Connectivity includes 4x 1Gb RJ45 and 4x 10Gb SFP Ethernet ports, along with 4x UTA2 (10Gb/16Gb SFP+) and 4x QSFP (6Gb SAS) ports for flexible networking and storage expansion.
With support for up to 480 drives and a maximum storage capacity of 7.68PB, the FAS8020 accommodates a variety of drive types, including MSATA, SATA, NL-SAS, SAS, and SSD.
