The Dell EMC PowerVault MD3800i Series storage array is a high-availability storage solution designed to provide redundant access to data storage. It can support both single and dual RAID controller configurations and offers 10G/1000 BaseT connectivity to the host server. The array can support up to 12 3.5" HDD/SSD drives and up to 64 servers directly connected per controller, with a maximum of 120 drives when combined with expansion enclosures.
The Dell EMC PowerVault MD3800i and 3820i Series storage array provide 10/1000GbE Base-T connectivity to the host server. It enables access to 64 physical hosts.
Keeping pace with the latest technology
The RAID controller modules provide high-performance, advanced virtual disk configuration, and fault-tolerant disk subsystem management. Each RAID controller module contains 4GB or 8GB of mirrored cache for high availability and a battery-powered cache offload mechanism.
Versatile options your way
The MD3800i iSCSI array series offers two 10Gb Ethernet iSCSI SAN solutions that are ideal for entry-level storage consolidation in virtualized environments that require high availability and high performance. The array series supports a range of drive types, enclosures, and RAID levels all within a single array.
