The Dell iDRAC7 Enterprise Remote Access Adapter (WD6D2) enhances remote management capabilities for select 12th-generation PowerEdge servers. It provides comprehensive out-of-band management, allowing administrators to monitor, update, and troubleshoot servers regardless of operating system state.

Key features include a dedicated 1GbE management port, virtual console and media support, vFlash for virtual storage, and integration with directory services. Although iDRAC7 reached End of Sale in February 2017 and End of Software Maintenance in February 2020, the hardware remains functional, with the final firmware version being 2.65.65.65.
