The Apollo sx40 is the SXM2 Version of the GPU Intense servers. The PCIe version is the HPE Apollo pc40 GPU Rack Server. Both servers are similar in that they both have 2 CPUs, 12 DIMMs, 2x 2000W Titanium PSUs, and 4 GPUs. This Apollo sx40 is a 1U form factor with support for 2 SFF Drives in the front. The sx40 Chassis can come with 4 V100 or 4 P100 GPUs and the 2 PSU installed..

This sx40 has two low-profile PCIe slots and 2 Full-height PCIe slots. With 4 total PCIe slots this server has plenty of room for expansion of any kind. Like the HHHL NVMe PCIe cards.
The system comes with two 10GB RJ-45 Ports in the rear with the ability to upgrade and expand the networking abilities. When installing an InfiniBand Adapter you can get up to 100Gb/s.
The Apollo sx40 comes with 7 fans behind the bezel cooling off the 4x P100 or A100 SXM2 GPUs. There is no other cooling option.
Just like the pc40 Apollo server this sx40 takes 2x 2000W PSU in the rear that come with the chassis.
