What is AOC
AOC (Active Optical Cable) is a high-speed fiber optic cable with built-in transceivers, used for networking and storage interconnects. Higher Bandwidth & Lower Latency – Supports 10Gbps, 25Gbps, 40Gbps, 100Gbps+, making it ideal for high-speed networking. Lighter & More Flexible – Compared to DAC (Direct Attach Copper) cables, AOCs are thinner and can cover longer distances (up to 100m+).
