With a total rack height of 4U, this system supports up to 1,440 drives and a maximum storage capacity of 15PB, making it an ideal choice for large-scale enterprise data environments.
For connectivity, the FAS8700 is equipped with eight 16Gb SFP+ Fibre Channel ports for high-speed data transfer, eight MiniSAS HD ports (12Gb) for storage expansion, and five PCIe slots for additional functionality.
