When installed in the ML350, the server comes standard with 3 hot swap fan s, non-redundant and 1 Blank for a Single Socket Configuration. For a Two socket configurations you need 4 Fans. This ML350 has a Fan Cage (780989-001) that can handle up to 8 Fans. The second row of fans is for redundancy configurations.
