The EMC VNXe3100 Disk Processor Enclosure (DPE) is a compact 2U storage platform designed for small to medium-sized businesses. Supporting up to 12 large form factor drives, it offers unified storage access via iSCSI SAN and NAS protocols, ideal for file sharing, virtualization, and remote office consolidation.
With single or dual storage processor configurations, the VNXe3100 provides flexible network connectivity through 1GbE or 10GbE ports. It scales via Gen 1 DAEs, allowing up to 96 total drives in a dual SP setup. Featuring Intel Xeon processors and mirrored cache protection, it delivers enterprise-class storage with simplified management.
