Dell PowerEdge R450

The Dell PowerEdge R450 is a 1U dual-socket rack server running up to two 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 24 cores each. It offers 16 DDR4 RDIMM slots (up to 1TB at up to 2933 MT/s), up to 4x 3.5" or 8x 2.5" SAS/SATA drives, PCIe Gen4 expansion, two 1GbE LOM ports and an OCP 3.0 slot. Managed by iDRAC9 with redundant power supplies, it is a value-focused platform for scale-out and general-purpose workloads. Fully configurable.

The R450 moves from 2nd Gen to 3rd Gen Xeon Scalable processors, from PCIe Gen3 to Gen4 slots, and from OCP 2.0 to OCP 3.0 networking. It drops the R440's NVMe and LRDIMM options, and adds 800W and 1100W power supply choices.
