This Dell PowerEdge R740XD Riser 2 and Riser 3 Flex Bay Kit delivers a high-performance expansion solution with three full PCIe 3.0 x16 slots and an integrated 2-bay SFF rear flex backplane. The riser supports FHFL, FHHL, and LPHL card formats for maximum flexibility.
Riser 2 requires CPU 2 to be installed and is ideal for dense compute and I/O-heavy environments. Riser 3 includes the 0YM8V6 backplane and both power and signal cables, enabling seamless addition of rear SFF drives in the R740XD chassis.
