Strong IT Foundation

The Dell PowerEdge T610 contributes to your IT foundation by offering many of the virtualization, system management, and usability capabilities you need while providing impressive power and thermals for overall energy efficiency. This mainstream two socket Intel™ based tower server includes a rack-mount option and supports mission critical applications and data processing.


Purposeful Design

The T610 takes advantage of Dell’s system commonality. Once your IT managers learn one system, they understand how to manage next-generation Dell servers. Logical component layout and power supply placement also provide a straightforward installation and redeployment experience. Inspired by IT professionals, the T610 is built to simplify daily operations and maximize uptime.

In addition, Dell PowerEdge servers provide a graphical and interactive LCD for system health monitoring, alerting, and control of basic management configuration right in the front of the server. Customers have an AC power meter and ambient temperature thermometer built into the server that they can monitor on this display without any software tools.


Energy-Optimized Technology

Using the latest Energy Smart technologies, the T610 helps reduce power consumption while increasing performance capacity over previous generations of Dell towers. Enhancements include efficient power supply units right-sized for system requirements, effective system-level design efficiency, policy-driven power and thermal management, and highly efficient standards-based Energy Smart components. These features are designed to maximize energy usage across our latest core data center servers without compromising performance.

Cooling & Fans

With the ability to install one or two Processors in this Dell PowerEdge T610 with no high-performance accelerators or adapter cards. The system only comes with one type of Heat Sink for the Intel CPUs.

The Fan system in the Dell T610 comes with 2 Large fans in the rear of the system providing the optimal air-flow across all the components.

Memory

The PowerEdge T610 utilizes DDR3 memory, providing a high-performance, high-speed memory interface capable of low latency response and high throughput. The T610 supports Registered ECC DDR3 DIMMs (RDIMM) or Unbuffered ECC DDR3 DIMMs (UDIMM).

The PowerEdge T610 has 12 DIMM slots for memory. The DDR3 memory interface consists of three channels with up to two RDIMMs or UDIMMs per channel for single- or dual-rank and up to two RDIMMs per channel for quad-rank. The interface uses 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, or 16GB RDIMMs. Also supported are 1GB or 2GB UDIMMs.

  • Support for up to 192 GB of RDIMM memory (twelve 16 GB RDIMMs)
  • Support for up to 24 GB of UDIMM memory (twelve 2 GB UDIMMs)

PCI Configuration

The PowerEdge T610 has five PCI Express expansion slots and one dedicated storage slot, which are detailed as follows:

  • Two x8 PCIe Gen2 slots for full-height full-length cards connected to the IOH
  • Three x4 PCIe Gen2 slots for full-height half-length cards connected to the IOH
  • One x4 PCIe Gen1 slot for a dedicated storage controller card connected to the IOH

The system supports 25W maximum power for the first two PCIe cards and 15W for the third, fourth, and fifth PCIe cards. The lower-power support on the third, fourth, and fifth cards is due to system thermal limitations and not due to system power requirements.
The system does not support hot-plugging or hot-removal of PCI Express cards.

Networking

The PowerEdge T610 has an embedded dual-port Gigabit Ethernet controller with TCP Offload Engine (TOE) support. The embedded Broadcom® 5709C dual-port LAN controller is on the T610 planar as an independent Gigabit Ethernet interface device. The following information details the features of the LAN device:

Express Computer Systems (ECS) provides a 1 year parts warranty against defects in material or workmanship that will affect the products functionality. All refurbished items are tested prior to shipping to guarantee up-time upon arrival. If you are having issues with an item we provided please Contact Us and we will do our best to assist you.

What does our ECS warranty cover?
We offer 1 year warranty as standard and additional years can be added to fit your needs. Please reach out to a sales associate via the Contact Us page or live chat for more information on extended coverage options. During the coverage period if your product fails we will offer a Next Business Day replacement. If we are unable to replace the product we will refund its original selling price. Shipping costs and tax are not refundable. Express Computer Systems retains the right to decide whether the goods will be replaced or refunded.

What is not covered by our warranty?
Our warranty does not cover any problem caused by the following conditions:

  1. accidents; misuse; carelessness; electrostatic discharge; shock; temperature or humidity beyond the specifications of the product; improper installation; operation; modification;
  2. any improper use that contravenes the instructions in the user manual;
  3. problems caused by other equipment. Our warranty is void if the product is returned with damaged, removed, counterfeit labels, or any modifications (including any component or external cover removal). Our warranties do not cover data loss or damages to any other equipment. In addition, our warranties do not cover incidental damages, consequential damages, or costs related to data recovery, removal, and installation.

  • Please ask for additional warranty/coverage that you may require in addition to the standard 1 ECS warranty prior to final purchase. Requesting additional warranty after your purchase can be denied.
